A second person has been left blinded in one eye following an acid attack in an east London nightclub.

The Met said a man had been injured when he was sprayed at the Mangle E8 club in Hackney on Monday. A 22-year-old woman was also blinded in one eye.

Officers have renewed their appeal for suspect Arthur Collins, 25 from Hertfordshire, to hand himself in.

Mr Collins, the boyfriend of TV celebrity Ferne McCann, is wanted by police along with two others.

No more information has been released by officers as to the identity of the two other wanted men.

Det Insp Lee McCullough, who is leading the investigation, said: "My team is acting on a number of leads to bring in those wanted for questioning in relation to this awful incident.

"I am continuing to appeal to Arthur Collins and the two men who were seen with him to hand themselves in so that we can talk to them about the incident in the nightclub. I would also urge anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact police.

"Equally, anyone found harbouring those wanted for questioning by police can expect a knock at the door and could well find themselves under arrest."

Twenty people were injured in the attack.

The noxious substance used has not yet been confirmed but samples retrieved from the scene have been sent for analysis.

Three people have been arrested as part of the investigation. A 33-year-old woman, held on suspicion of firearms offences, has been released on bail, while a 54-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman. held on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis after police officers found a cannabis farm and illegal firearms at Mr Collins' home in Broxbourne, have been released under investigation.

Ms McCann, who found fame in TV show The Only Way is Essex, has appealed for Mr Collins to go to a police station.

Scotland Yard believe the acid was sprayed at two men, but hit others, following a dispute between two groups.

The injured men, aged 24 and 29, remain in a specialist burns unit hospital in Essex, both in a serious but stable condition.

The acid attack is one of three similar reports made to police in London over the past week.

On Good Friday a carjacking victim was sprayed with a "noxious substance" in Bow, while an 18-year-old man suffered possibly life-changing injuries when he and another woman had a corrosive substance thrown over them in Fulham.
